Policies of the Kinki Regional Development Bureau

The Kinki Regional Development Bureau is promoting the type of regional development that will vitalize the area, and starting with the Keihanshin area, we are aiming for a rebirth of prosperity in the metropolitan areas in the Kinki Region, and in that regard we are promoting the development of an infrastructure that will vitalize the Kinki economy.

In more concrete terms, these policies can be summed up by the following six themes.

	Development of the traffic related infrastructure required to support vitalization in the Kinki Region
	Rebirth of prosperity in the metropolitan areas in the Kinki Region, including the Keihanshin area
	Creation of a beautiful environment in the Kinki Region
	Realization of safety and peace of mind
	Promotion of the IT revolution through the creation of the required information infrastructure
	Promotion of wide-area cooperation and liaison among various administrative organizations in the Kinki Region
