Fundamental Structure
The 3rd World Water Forum will be composed of the following three main elements:

The Committee will conduct various events under the title of the Lake Biwa - Yodo River Basin Coalition Works, a part of the Water Fair.
Operational Objectives
The objective of the 3rd World Water Forum: Lake Biwa - Yodo River Basin Coalition Executive Committee (hereafter, the Committee) is to ensure the smooth operation of the Lake Biwa - Yodo River Basin Coalition Works (hereafter the Basin Coalition Works), which will be conducted as a part of the Water Fair/Festival (hereafter, the Water Fair), and furthermore stimulate a higher level of awareness of issues related to water in the general public, as well as to promote the formation of a water-related network. The Water Fair itself will be held as a part of the 3rd World Water Forum.

  1. Planning and performance of Basin Coalition Works
  2. Promotion of general public and NPO involvement in Basin Coalition Works
  3. Management of publicity and public relations related to the Basin Coalition Works
  4. Liaison and communications with related authorities and organizations
  5. Other necessary works
