Here we will open the Water Fair, and through the wide-spread dissemination of a variety of information related to water, we are aiming to generate new movements.

    Considering the whole of the Yodo River Basin and Lake Biwa as the site for the Water Fair, we will take the opportunity to introduce people living in the areas near the various forum sites to all of those who attend the functions, and promote the exchange of information and culture through cultural events and historical festivals. The various sites within the river basin will be linked by shuttle buses, providing access to a variety of exhibitions and water-related events.

    We are energetically promoting participation in the Water Fair by private enterprises, autonomous bodies and NGO, etc.
