In regard to the opening of the 3rd World Water Forum, the objective of this Committee is to ensure liaison and coordination concerning the activities of the 3rd World Water Forum Shiga Prefecture Committee, the 3rd World Water Forum Kyoto Executive Committee, the 3rd World Water Forum Osaka Committee, and the 3rd World Water Forum: Lake Biwa - Yodo River Basin Coalition Executive Committee (hereafter, the Regional Committees) related to the Water Fair/Festival (hereafter, the Water Fair), which is a part of the 3rd World Water Forum. Another objective is to provide guidance and suggestions related to cooperation and support conducted by the Regional Committees in regard to the Ministerial Conference, the General Forum Conference, and the Separate Conferences.
