Kujukuri Beach

The name of place “Kujukuri Beach” derives from a historical event that when Minamotono Yoritomo once ordered his vassals to survey the beach by setting up arrows every 1 ri from Cape Taito, it took 99 arrows to reach Cape Gyobe.

The coastline from the south (Ichinomiya Town on Cape Taito) to the north (The 66km arcuate coastline all over the Asahi City at Gyobu Cape) has no reefs and you can enjoy the exhilaration unique to Kujukuri Beach what pedaling while feeling the sea breeze in the majestic natural beauty of the sea, sandy beach and sky.

Shichirigahama is about 3km coastline that extends from Inamuragasaki to Enoshima. It has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 beaches and there you can see Enoshima, Miura Peninsula, Izu Oshima, and even Mt. Fuji.The beauty of the evening scenery attracts not only locals but also many tourists who visit this area. It is also a place where you can enjoy surfing all year round, and the national road along the coast is dotted with cafes and restaurants, making it a convenient place to take a break while cycling.When you find a view spot like Shonan, park your bicycle and enjoy the scenery at your leisure.

The Izu Peninsula has hosted the Tokyo 2020 Olympic cycling competition and is a holy place for cyclists. Althought it is haesh for cyclists to cycling on rough terrain, the spectacular view of nature you see when you overcome the course is exceptional. "Izu Ichi" which goes around the peninsula, adds the thrill of hill climbing to the long ride of 267 km. For beginners, it is a recommended course where you can cycling along the coast from Koganezaki in Nishiizu to Toi and Koibito Misaki while watching the sunset.

Cape Irago is located on the Atsumi Peninsula between the scenic Mikawa Bay and the magnificent Pacific Ocean.The warm climate nurtures seasonal vegetables and beautiful flowers and the scenery of the rapeseed fields in spring is especially popular.In addition, there is the Hijiseki Gate where a beautiful silhouette emerges at sunrise, the beautiful sandy beach, Koijigahama Beach which was the stage of the poem "Palm Fruit" and the Irago Lighthouse which was selected as one of the 50 best lighthouses in Japan.The sights that appear one after another will further expand the fun of stepping on the pedals.

A cycle road that goes south by choosing a route along the sea or along the mountains from Toba where the ferry arrives from Cape Irago.The two courses meet at Kiinaga island.
